ENTER SKATEBOARDING — LEGAL
Privacy policy.
The short version: parents trust us with their kids — we treat their information the same way. Nothing gets sold, nothing gets shared beyond what runs the program, and photos only exist with your consent.
Who we are
Enter Skateboarding LLC (“Enter,” “we”) runs skateboarding camps, classes, and private lessons at Fremont Skate Park, California, and operates this website and the Enter coaching app. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@enterskateboarding.com.
What we collect
From parents and guardians: your name, email, and phone; an emergency contact; and what you tell us about your skater — first and last name, birthdate, skating experience, stance, and any medical notes you choose to share so coaches can keep them safe.
At the park: attendance, skill progression (which curriculum skills your skater is working on and has mastered), and — only if you said yes at registration — photos and videos of your skater. No photo consent means no photos: the system uses initials instead of images for your skater, everywhere, automatically.
From coaches: name, email, profile photo, and an account password (stored as a cryptographic hash, never readable by us).
How we use it
To run the programs: rosters, attendance, grouping, and safety. To track and celebrate progression through our curriculum. To send you transactional email about your skater — registration confirmations, session recaps, milestones, and account notices. To keep coaches accountable (every check-off records which coach made it). That's the list.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information or your skater's. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels. We do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else. Photos of skaters are never used in marketing without separate, explicit permission from you.
Children
Accounts belong to adults — parents, guardians, and coaches. We collect information about skaters under 13 only from their parent or guardian, with consent given at registration, and we use it solely to run the program and report progress back to that family. A skater's information is visible only to our staff and to the family accounts linked to them.
Who touches the data
We run on a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf: Convex (application database), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (email delivery). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
City of Fremont camps enroll through the City's own registration system (ACTIVENet) — information you enter there is governed by the City's and Active Network's privacy policies, not this one. Payments for academy-run programs are handled by their payment provider (e.g., Stripe); we never see or store card numbers.
Your choices & rights
Email hello@enterskateboarding.com to see what we have about you or your skater, correct it, export it, or delete it. Photo consent can be withdrawn at any time and takes effect immediately. California residents: we don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of — but every right above is yours regardless.
Retention & security
We keep program records while your skater is active with us and for a reasonable period after (progression history is half the product — families often come back). Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-gated (coaches see their crews; families see only their own skaters), and admin access is limited to Enter staff.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email account holders and update the date below. Effective: June 12, 2026.
